CIGNA Group Ranks as World's 10th Best Company in 2025

Seven of the world’s best companies in 2025 were based in the United States, according to TIME magazine and Statista, including one from Connecticut – the CIGNA Group.

For CIGNA, the 10th place ranking was a jump up 22 places from last year.  The only other Connecticut businesses to reach the top 50 were UnitedHealth Group, which landed in 26th place and The Hartford, which was ranked at number 49.

Nvidia, which this summer became the first public company to hit $4 trillion in market value, topped TIME and Statista’s 2025 statistical ranking of the World’s Best Companies. The ranking measures employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability transparency.

The top 10 worldwide were Nvidia, Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Volkswagen Group, BBVA, Airbus and Cigna.  Apple—which topped the World’s Best Companies list in 2024—was notably absent this year, TIME pointed out.

CIGNA’s headquarters is in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
