CT Manufacturing Innovation Forum Slated for September 11 in Hartford
/The Connecticut Office of Manufacturing will host the Connecticut Manufacturing Innovation Forum on September 11 in Hartford, featuring nationally recognized speakers, interactive exhibits, and breakout sessions on topics such as talent development, technology adoption, and supply chain growth, along with opportunities to engage one-on-one with industry experts.
The all-day event, at the Connecticut Convention Center, is presented by the Connecticut Manufacturing Innovation Fund (MIF), with programming curated by the 2025 planning committee, which includes the Connecticut Office of Manufacturing, American Manufacturing Hall of Fame, Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, CONNSTEP, ReadyCT and U.S. Small Business Administration.
Officials point out that the “Connecticut Manufacturing Innovation Forum has grown into the region’s premier manufacturing innovation conference, addressing some of the industry’s most pressing issues: talent development, succession planning, tax credit optimization, financial growth, supply chain development, and technology adoption.”
Speakers will include Paul Lavoie, Chief Manufacturing Officer in the Department of Economic and Community Development’s Office of Manufacturing; Chris Moore, CEO of FIRST; Laura Juliano, Managing Director & Senior Partner; North America Regional Practice Leader, Boston Consulting Group; Sara Harari, Director of Innovation for the Connecticut Green Bank, among more than two dozen speakers and panelists throughout the day.
