The world’s largest insurtech event, InsureTech Connect offers unparalleled access to the largest and most comprehensive gathering of tech entrepreneurs, investors and insurance industry executives from across the globe. It’s annual gathering will be September 21-23 in Las Vegas, with attendance expected to exceed 8,000.

In addition, ITC has expanded this year, with InsureTech Connect Asia taking place June 2-4 in Singapore.

Jang is a member of the Kauffman Fellows Program, a selective fellowship community for venture capitalists. Prior to joining ITC, Jang was the Managing Director of a leading insurtech accelerator, the MetLife Digital Accelerator, powered by Techstars.

“Mee-Jung not only possesses an incomparable skill set, but she reflects the values which we hold dear - an industry-first, people-first approach. There is no better leader to help us take ITC to the next level,” says Jay Weintraub, CEO of InsureTech Connect.

“ITC is a global leader and has a proven track record of connecting the entire insurance ecosystem. This is one of the many reasons I have enjoyed speaking at and attending every year,” said Jang. “I couldn’t be more excited to join this innovative brand.”

“As ITC continues to grow in reach and scope, our attendees deserve to have an even more personalized experience, and 2020 will see increased investment and use in our proprietary technology to enable even more connections and conversations,” Weintraub added.

Among the sponsors of the 2019 InsureTech event was LAUNC[H] Hartford, Hartford Insurtech Hub, Insurtech Hartford, and the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development.

ITC Asia is expected to bring together 1,500 attendees and 150 internationally and regionally known speakers for the inaugural 2020 event. Officials noted that ITC Asia will function as a central meeting point for the rapidly transforming insurance industry.  ITC was founded by Jay Weintraub and Caribou Honig.
