Hiring Expo Returns to Home Field of Hartford Athletic in September

During the week ending July 25, 2026, there were 15,984 new job postings in Connecticut.  A month earlier, for the week ending June 27, there were 16,031 new job postings in Connecticut, and earlier that month, during the week ending June 6, 2026, there were 14,981 new job postings in the state

To help fill those jobs, the Connecticut Department of Labor (CTDOL) and Hartford Athletic are hosting the 6th annual hiring expo at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford on September 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Job seekers can meet employers from across industry sectors who are hiring for “real jobs they have now,” according a posting on the state’s website. No registration required for job seekers.

The event is supported by DATTCO, Work Zone Safety, M&T Bank, USA Waste & Recycling, All Waste Inc., Greater Hartford Gives Foundation, and Right at Home.  To date, a total of 25 businesses have registered and will have a presence at the event.
