Hartford Seminary is now Hartford International University for Religion and Peace. The name change, announced Wednesday, comes as the institution’s emphasis has broadened, particularly in recent years, and against a backdrop of a renewed worldwide emphasis on building common ground among different peoples and communities of belief.
